Thinking about a G wagon. Looked on Autotrader and only saw 20 plus year cars for around. 15 to 20k. On Mercedes used ones that were 4 years old around 50 or 60k. All for the 350 diesel variants. Cheers

If they are discounting like that on a new model then there is a good reason for it. I had a very nice c43 for the day. Really not very exciting but a very nice car none the less. Quick too.

I have a long standing relationship with the dealer, but I would like to think it would be the decent thing to do for any customer especially in trying to build any customer loyalty. The other thing of note is that loyalty is a two way street, and I think some people forget that.

Same issue with the delivery of my car. There was a planned date and then car came literally a month early out of the blue; an initial request to come get the car (I work abroad), to which I said no way, my dealer however was excellent, picked the car 5 to 6 weeks later. No pressure.

Did you ask him how many Ed1 C63S cars there would be? That kind of defines 'Special' as well. The AMG GTS is limited to around 35 for example, and you can't specify the extras on that car from the options list.
