Yes that's what I was getting at, service prices are silly for the C63 so I always thought £45 was good value. I would have thought a C220 would be £300 per year max but I'm obviously miles out.

£420 per year to service a C220 seems expensive to me. My C63 was only £45 per month.

Leasing used to be simple, 3+36, now it's 3/6/9 + 18/24/36/48 and now plus an additional £500. It might still be a good deal but I can't say I've ever seen a lease with 2 deposits.

I class my car as my hobby so it's easier to justify :)

It's the norm. When I advertised my C63 (and other cars) I got loads of 'what's your best price mate' type calls. Most wanted the car for less than trade price even though it was keenly priced. I did get a good trade offer so sold it to him for more than the 'private' buyers were willing to pay...

Just remember that if you sell the car and have overpaid you will get money back, the reverse is that if you sell your car only a few months after getting a service you may owe them money.
