Also going back to using the gummi pflege hard stick to proper rub in.to seals. Was using the liquid stuff with sponge tip and i dont think its as good. Damn shame these.bloody leaks. Just put in a pioneer head unit too, so just wanting it to be all sorted now, if not will send to a convertible...

Looking in to this further, on either side of the rear seal under window, underneath there is a foam rubber pad, both sides, that is to add water tightness. I have ordered some new ones as the ones i have are peeling away. See what happens See end of clip below

Yep, it started flaking then basically underneath the black top layer is metal underneath. It looks metal anyway could be plastic, its the trim about 1cm in.width. My sprayer seems to think its been sprayed before.
