    Yes they are - but they have additional reserves that make it look like a double damper. So as the car goes up and down in height to level itself the dampers are always able to maintain the same damping bound and rebound rates

    Yes I am pretty sure. Its going in to the dealer tomorrow so lets see what they say....no doubt it will not make the noise during the road test.

    Cant get my head round the wind whistle noise coming from the car at between 40 - 70mph. It starting to really bug me. Has anyone else had this problem. Thanks

    The sounds are very different, but I reckon when the turbos are on full boost it may be a harder edge noise which may feel louder than the 6.2

    I believe that all these engines are run at high rpm before being fitted and are to an extent run in. It is all the ancillaries and running gear that require to be run in. I don't think it is really required, but if anything was to go wrong later, they would no doubt inquire the running in...

    The AMG "S" model has a free LSD service at 1500 miles. The normal AMG does not require any check up, but being turbocharged, I would check oil regularly. The run in period is 1000 miles, max 85mph and max 4500rpm.
