Anyone looking for a W202 C250TD Auto saloon? Chipped ECU. Needs some TLC but engine and gearbox are excellent. Moving abroad. Looking for a good home for it.

Thanks for the replies. I've taken off the sockets and it looks a right mess. I think a new ECU is needed. If I get another ECU, how do I get around the key and immobiliser issue?

Looks like I've soldered the sockets in wrong. Either some pins aren't contacting or could be bridged. Is there anyone in Kent that could help? I've tried all the local ECU Repair shops but they won't touch it. Thanks

Excellent stuff. Thank you. I've already ordered a length of pipe to delete the cat. Just a temporary thing until I get a proper full exhaust. I haven't noticed a cut in fuel. Performance isn't down anyway. Just seems sluggish from standstill. But I think its always been like that

Even though its an EDC Pump? Could I've remove the boost control hardware and once I upgrade the turbo, just run a simple vacuum line to the actuator?

OK. That makes sense now. Ive jammed it shut so it will never open. Now she flies. No lag in between gears (it's an auto) still very laggy from standstill though. Hardly moves for a couple of seconds then takes off. Will messing with the actuator have confused the ecu and cause a cut in fuel or...

I wanted to preload the the turbo actuator to see if that would give any better response. I noticed that the wastegate is stuck open. Pushed wide open by the spring it feels like. I thought the spring keeps it closed and boost pressure opens it when it get too high. Is it different on these cars?

Obviously there is the option of upgrading the pump elements but is there a possibility of upgrading the injector nozzles and if so, would there be any benefit? Thanks
