    CLS63 W219 Rotiform KPS 20x10

Thanks I’m unsure because the tyres suggested stretch slightly at that size, which will maybe add to the clearance, the fender clearance looks close in his pics and I think he’s lowered too, I can always roll the one need if it really comes to it.

    CLS63 W219 Rotiform KPS 20x10

Hi, I took delivery of my new wheels for my CLS63 w219 recently (Rotiform kps Black, all four 20x10 ET35) as advised by someone with that setup on their CLS55. Now upon offering the wheels up to the hub, they seem very wide, almost touching the arm which has the air matic bag. The guy says he...

    CLS63 2008 won't start

Thanks, the nut actually sparked when I put the socket to it, even with the keys out of the ignition, so had to disconnect the battery before continuing.

    CLS63 2008 won't start

Update: fixed, I managed to get underneath it today with a trolley jack and axle stands, much squeezing and such. Upon removing the undertrays, I located the starter and discovered the nut to a small wire on the starter was slightly loose, soon as I tightened it with a 10mm socket and turned the...

    CLS63 2008 won't start

People elsewhere are asking if there's also a starter battery as well as the main one in the boot? If so where is it? How do I attempt to charge it?

    CLS63 2008 won't start

I tried a different relay and same result.

    CLS63 2008 won't start

Thanks, my next thought was the relay, I just turned the crank with a socket and no resistance there.

    CLS63 2008 won't start

Someone suggested somewhere else that it's a possibility that it may be hydrolocked due to coolant sat in the top end preventing the pistons from moving, I've had updated head bolts last year and never lost any coolant though?

    CLS63 2008 won't start

Thanks for all the replies, I will update with what happens, is there a possibility that it's something big or difficult to diagnose? I had my old car in at an Indy for a week over what turned out to be a MAF sensor, they were going down the road of new ECU before they managed to sort it.

    CLS63 2008 won't start

Yes the 6.2, I mean it was absolutely fine when I shut it off for the day, could it be something ridiculous? Odd that everything was fine one minute and dead the next.

    CLS63 2008 won't start

Just wondering if anyone on here can help, I've got a CLS63 2008, always run fine, yesterday I came out to start it and it wouldn't turn over, a very slight split-second attempt at turning the stater was heard, then nothing, not even clicks from the motor, maybe a very quiet whirr when trying to...

The build begins: CLK 500 black series body kit.

Update; if you see this car on your travels, salute it.. I put a lot of money into it, hours flattening and compounding the clear coat until it resembled glass.. I sold her a year ago, traded her in along with my 350Z and some cash for this. It doesn't get as many comments, just about how...

A great big thanks to MSL

It seems to be a controversial subject, but what's people's thoughts on the best way to run them in?

A great big thanks to MSL

Yes I would rather not say just for the moment just in case MSL would rather I didn't for some reason, let's just say it wasn't a small bill in all, but for everything including this tear down and rebuild it was incredibly reasonable.

Oh and iPE headers with catless down pipes and their ECU tune.

A great big thanks to MSL

Thanks :) it's all back together today, yeah and they discovered bearing issues while they were at it, plus a part of the oil pan was bodged up, previous owner went a long time between a service, the indicator was around 200 days over when I bought it, should've been a good enough excuse for me...

Acid and the team are truly unbelievable, endless respect and recognition on my part, had serious issues with the dragon, but they're making sure she spits fire again.
