Charge mine outside in all weathers and no issue so far.

I only use the brake, unless the brake hold function comes on then you have to touch the throttle to release it. If the car behind is parked up the kerb it will line itself up with it, was the only time mine nearly kerbed a wheel. I haven't left it to see if it will stop itself though...

I control the speed and just let it roll slowly using the brake while parking, it always seems like it is going to wipe it's nose on the car in front. The 360 camera is a fantastic bit of kit.
