Thanks, I’ve been down that route and it only shows e220 engine wiring. ive trawled the ‘net but no diagram. I’ve ordered workshop manuals on disc from America and even they are corrupted. everything about this conversion is fighting against me.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a w124 300-24? Specifically looking for the engine wiring.

I am fitting a 3.0 24v into my 190E, but struggling with the wiring loom. I have removed the 2.6 loom and laid it next to the w124 loom and they look very different. the connectors through to the dash are different and the new loom includes the ABS wiring. do I need to chop the new loom?:wallbash:

tbh the landrover driver probably thought exactly the same. the licences that are planned are there to prevent incidents like this, and unfortunately in our modern culture apportion blame when something does happen.

complete brake failure? fit a servo and not fit the retaining clip(because it'll be alright without it/lost it and cant find it) to clevis pin. pin falls out therefore total brake failure.

the land rover incident was attributed to poor maintenance and badly modified suspension. the land rover was lifted without the correct castor correction.

i do agree with what you say, but with licencing the spotty youth at quick fit will be qualified and RESPONSIBLE in the event of an incident. remember the land rover driver probably thought like yourself.

probably worth the price when you consider the speakers used, and the door panels are very good quality. how much are good door panels for a w124? i know, from personal experience, that good w201 door panels are very difficult to aquire.
