    E220d Coupe 2017 NOx/Adblue Pump

Hi, I’ve just been quoted £1500 to replace my ad blue tank due to the level sensor not reading. How did you get on? Were you able to get them to discount the cost seeing as the ad blue system isn’t a wear and tear serviceable item? Thanks.

    Ad Blue

Hi, Sorry to hear you had issues. I too have had an ad blue sensor issue come up on my E220d (can’t read ad blue level) only to be told it’ll cost me £1500 to get a new tank just to replace the level sensor inside the tank. As it’s not a result of wear and tear I don’t see how I should be...

Hmmmmmm.... theory sounds ok but getting 10 miles from a full charge sounds optimistic. When (when) I charge at work the dash says 16 miles of electric. However, under normal driving it increases my return journey mpg by a max 2mpg to 42mpg over a 60 mile journey. Someone please do the math, my...

Hi, Not been on here for a while but just popped on and saw your post. I've had my blue baby since Dec 15, and having driven 27k miles have spent some time in it to notice the odd niggle but generally very pleased. With regard to noise, i found their was a surprising amount of road noise...

Just thought I'd post official figures too so we can see the variance amongst us.... I have only ever charged a handful of times at work over the last 10 months. Miles driven 18375 miles Engine off 5020 miles Average mph 32 Average mpg 36.6 That said a lot of the low mpg was when the...

Sorry, also forgot to mention after 18k miles I still have 4mm tread on the back and 6mm on the front. The guy at Mercedes was quite shocked as folk apparently have only been getting 8k to 12k on the first set. Perhaps all that charging and using electric so instant torque is shredding rubber...

I generally have individual setting with suspension and steering as sport, air as comfort and engine as eco. Now at 18k miles I generally get 40mpg and even got 47mpg on a decent run all without charging. Makes a big difference in eco mode as the engine breaks a lot more for you to regenerate...

I think I'm getting sadder by the day I now take keyless entry for granted but amazed by now finally having a temperature readout following last weeks service. Having said that I now also have a tapping noise coming from the windscreen on th motorway. I mentioned that I had noticed road noise...

Unfortunately not. It only works for plumbing in Satnav directions. Who'd have thought this day and age on a £40k car. Then again the number of Range Rover drivers I see holding there phone up to their ear amazes me. Is it just me that's noticed it? Bluetooth must be a major upgrade lol.

Hi, While in navigation you can also press the central rocker switch/button and select the mute symbol which turns off the satnav voice. Not worked out how to make calls with voice commands though : (

Strange, I'm at 13k miles, plenty of tread left and now regularly get early to mid 40's on a long run and that's without ever charging. Interesting how much of a difference having engine set to Eco makes (on i setting with steering and suspension set to sport/+ and air con on comfort), with it...

Hmmmm I have Premium in brilliant blue with rear tints and agree it would be interesting to see how the black gloss trim looks compared to chrome, I like the idea of black wing mirrors. That said, I personally quite like the chrome as it keeps it looking 'premium' and gives a good contrast...

I love my sport but think the Avantgarde grille and sights looks a bit more special.

I was told by my dealer that it is just the Brilliant Blue cars that are made in Germany (or maybe it's the other way around), hence could be the reason for varying lead times. Apparently the other factory doesn't have the capability for the blue paint. I notice in the odd it says the...

I recall the journalist reviews saying similar but can confirm that the car is quieter than more or less any other I have driven on the motorway. If you can hear road noise and a bit of wind buffeting more than the engine that has to be a good sign. I can't imagine anyone ever complaining about...

I disagree. 17's are enough it's just that 18's+ fill the arches better. 19's obviously look sweet but I imagine the ride may be compromised a little. Not ideal when you're a motorway cruiser. And going back to my original point, it's not just the cost of the wheels, as a company car driver it...

My bad. I too have the suspension set as sport+. Helps fill the arches with rubber and while I would have loved 18's, it really doesn't bother me now, especially consider the tax saving and not having increased the cost by £500 for the sake of a bit of extra metal. It annoys me how they charge...

Mine does this also. Slightly annoying. Aren't we lazy nowadays when having to flick a switch on an auto car is hard work lol.

A beauty indeed. Not to be pedantic but the interior is artico grey! Not a fan of beige myself (each to their own). The interior looks well against the blue, especially at night where it reflects the blue ambient lights like the inside of a limo: )
