I'm currently talking with the consumer ombudsman about dealing with Mercedes Uk as i can't believe they can build and supply cars built with faulty parts and then deny help in putting it right when they fail.

Currently in Mercedes Exeter for repair £2500, they've been really helpful. Mercedes UK just say it's not a known problem in the Uk, they obviously don't use these forums:)
