I have just burn a DVD-R using a good brand DVD but the problem still persists. I only have one layer of 50 folders and about 12 songs in each folder.

Thanks for the info. Surely it is the software that controls the interfaces and algorithm - its such a shame that there are no s/w upgrade available.

The problem I had with the DVD+RW was that it plays the first track ok but struggles when I tried to choose a different folder/track. The DVD I used was a DVD+RW one which feels a bit thicker. Maybe I just burn a DVD-R one see if it makes any difference.

I have a COMAND APS 4.1 satnav installed in my 2005 E350. The satnav only allows partial posrcode entry (i.e. 4 characters) instead of full postrcode like TomTom and others. I wonder if there is a firmware/software update which I can get to improve that?

Thanks. I didn't know that the 2006 e-class facelift model has major mechical mods that make them a better drive. Its my wife's car and will clock about 6k miles a year so a e350 is a better choice for us and cheaper to buy as a used than the equivalent e320 cdi.
