Running Yokohamas on my C220, they were the original fitment from the factory, can't fault them, very quiet as regards tyre noise .

Don't discount the middle range tyres either, I ran Falken Eurowinters for 2 winters on my previous Scirocco, they were excellent.

Definitely something wrong with the rear tracking if it's worn through in 3 months, have you hit a kerb or large pothole recently? I'd get the alignment checked as recommended by previous poster, and a new tyre!
