*update* it was the steering lock :doh:. thank you all for your help.

we've checked fuses and we're not getting any power reading from fuse 37 in the rear fuse box in the boot all other fuses are reading 11.9 Volts. except for fuse 37 which states that its for Presafe Safety System can any one shed any light please.

i have checked them. i undid the battery again made sure there is no movement and that they are tight.
