I have the same problem at 70+mph with the accelerator pedal vibrating. MB Sheffield says it's within spec. The car has had 4 new conti tyres and 4 brand new MB OME alloys and it still does it. I'm thinking it's the prop shaft that needs balancing..?

Hi, I have similar problem with my 2016 w205 and pedal vibrates at 70 mph plus.. it's not a balancing issue because the car had had 2 sets of wheels plus tyres and mb Sheffield can't find what the problem is. Could it be a prop shaft balancing issue?

Quick update. I went out with their service manager at Jct Sheffield and he couldn't feel the issue. I confirmed I could and they gave me a brand new car, same model with same wheels to test drive and it was perfect. So they took the wheels and tyres from this car and put them on my car and they...

It's the glue coming through from manufacturing. Only fix is to recover seats I'm afraid and if he pushes MB then they will fix under warranty and even though manufactures warranty has run out, he is still within the dealers warranty and they should look after him, but he needs to keep pushing...

Keep pushing and go to the top and speak to the directors, I had to do this to get mine sorted.. als, try MB direct, they don't like complaints...!

Same problem in this thread. It's a problem with the glue they used when sticking down the fabric and is a MB warranty issue but you'll have to fight it. I hade min recovered with leather in my W204 FOC by MB Sheffield.. see link and hope it helps...

It is a fault and my car originally came from Doncaster Jct600 but was transferred to Sheffield Jct600 and they replaced with leather. It's is a fault with the glue. However, the the company they used to replace my seats with leather are not very good and they use cheap imported pre made seat...

They couldn't get a lead time from MB for replacement seat covers, so they have offered to re-trim the whole interior in leather. I accepted and just got the car back today and it looks superb. The quality is excellent and has the red stitching to match the steering wheel.
