The early idler gears teeth wear out. As there is no balance shaft on the m273 and it is literally a timing chain idler gear. Why can't this simply be done in situ? Remove the cam covers, remove the the timing chain case cover, undo the tensioner, would this not leave enough room to be able to...

I used Febi arms. Cheaper than the dealer. If you do the upper control arm, the height level sensor bracket must go back into the hole otherwise it messes everything up.

Just went through this. The creaky suspension is the front ARB bushes. They need gluing with some Devcon.

Hi there, which are the castor bushes upfront? For the ARB bushes I performed the glue fix and it didn't make any form of difference so it must be these castor bushes?

Bracket wasn't fitted properly for the level sensor :wallbash:
