    I think they're wise buy provided you buy with your eyes open and actually set aside money for maintenance. The prices are cheap enough now that you can factor in the worst case major maintenance costs and still still get very good value for money.

    R129 Sports Suspension - Options?

    I used Eibach Springs with standard (new) shocks and the ride is very good whilst not being wallowy at all. If you go for Bilstein B6 shocks (part of the B12 kit) you might find the ride too firm.
