I agree, the car is light blue though but certainly looks silver on occasions. Tellerium silver to be exact. My old CLK55 was silver so I can see the subtle difference.

Gave the car a wash and wax using a basic Carnauba natural clarity. Never used a wax before so was unsure how it would come up. Gave the inside plastics some gloss Armorall and used Meguiars engine detailer for the kick plates as it stays darker longer. Not sure if the gloss finish works...

As I said you are correct in that the graffiti may have been offensive as opposed to racist! In this instance yes 80% of the abuse is from abroad. However, racist abuse is directed at players on weekly basis and I would be very surprised if the majority was not from the UK.

Pretty clear his mural was defaced with racist comments! Are we now saying that it didn't happen 🤔 Plain criticism of players missing penalties is clearly not the issue! If you are a desenter using racial slurs to get your point across then you have crossed the line!

I always use Meguiars engine cleaner/ detailer! The engine bay was certainly dusty on purchase and looks better now. Will certainly need another pass as the plastic trim around the windscreen wipers have been totally neglected!

Hi and welcome. I am not very objective as I have owned the 55 and now on my second 350! I personally prefer the V6 or V8! As has been said the navs are pretty basic, you can buy a Xtrons stereo or similar make. They look OEM and have the more modern features. I have one but not had it fitted...

I put some petrol in today and cleaned the wheels. Fronts need more cleaning at the back, the rears are nearly there. I marked them slightly which is always annoying, will touch them up if I can! Had the windows down which is always good.

I agree, I think it looks great as it is but i understand the desire to change it. You may find that it will be less noticeable in black! Great car in any case!

Thanks! I have not cleaned the car because of the rain so will wait for a dry spell. I am very pleased with the interior, but the leather feels a little hard which means it's drying out and needs some conditioner!
