Wheels and calipers look great. Especially the calipers, love the colour and for an 'on the car' job the finish looks exceptional!

I think to be honest it seems slewed towards the C63s etc. as more enthusiasts buy those sort of cars so they post more on forums. I know what you mean though as looking at the AMG section on here you'd think every man and his dog had a C63 :D

Dave, in my experience these Turbines are difficult to shift for some reason. I still have a set in the garage as had no takers in months of trying on Ebay.

I own an SL55. It has a Mercedes badge on the back so I think it's a Mercedes, maybe wrong though :rolleyes: PS Very little I read on here would encourage me to purchase a Merc.

So what if they are showing off though? I think the real problem is twofold: 1) For one reason or another the C63 is accessible to people who at one time couldn't have afforded an AMG or the likes and 'certain' people don't like that. 2) The sort of cars Merc are producing with the AMG...

I think you need to look up the word irony!

They are about £70 plus VAT from Mercedes and take about 10 minutes to swap over. Go to your local dealer and have them do it as there is a knack to getting them on and off. If you have a go yourself they slide towards the wide end about 15mm and pop out. Replacement is a reverse of removal.

Hmmmm, IMO there is and that is one that is not moderated consistently! Anyway I've said my piece and as I don't own a C63 I shan't worry about it ;)

Build is still looking fantastic, can't wait to see the end result.
