    Losing it now

So Having done various tests, I decided to replace fuel filter even though it's not very old, as I was thinking that the laying up over winter might have gained moisture in tank. So I changed out the filter yesterday and low and behold the fuel/moisture/dirty fuel was black in colour, so now I...

    Oil Consumption

I was always concerned about the amount of oil my W124 230ce consumed, so I looked at the owners manual and lo and behold it said 1 litre per 1000km:eek: O.K. the car is 28years young but it's even scarier to see what some of the modern engines are doing.

    W124 Engine bay wiring looms

Does this mean my 190e with m102 engine is a culprit as the label has 1987 as a year on it. This is a puzzler as I was all the time concerned about my w124 coupe with m102 engine but had read that the m102 engine wasn't affected my loom issues:dk:

Thanks, I had replaced the 2 pole sender last year or it could be longer, the only one that looks dodgey to me as it has burn marks on it is the thermo vac one but it is also a year or so old. I have read that the thermo vac one does bugger all any way:dk: I ideally would like to know a...
