I was under the impression that if the glow plug blinks it indicates a glow plug issue but if it remains on for a certain time it is the glowplug relay-I'm sure somebody with more experience than I will be along shortly.......The correct relay can be brought on Ebay for around £130.

I had a similar issue on my 2008 CLS . It was checked on a 4 wheel geo and was found to need adjusting at the back. Hope this helps :-)

I had a similar issue at MOT time. The vehicle had 2 new front tyres and a 4 wheel alignment check and adjustment. Not a major issue to reject the car IMHO

It may pay you in the long run to connect it to STAR-Mercedes diagnostic system-rather than guessing and spending time and effort on the wrong items.

I have brought a kit from ebay.The cables are different lengths obviously but I seem to have a lot of slack on the longer one-is this right?
