I have a C43 Estate - the crabbing for me is on nearly to full lock and when it is cold (the 'feature' lessens as it gets warmer). It annoys me only because I think it can be sorted and I worry that long term it may be doing some damage.... That aside it is nice car!

13 degrees at the beach today and my C43 crabbed like a goodun' into the parking space. Can't wait to be told to fit winter tyres when it hits 25 degreesC ;)

Agree completely on this, I would still expect the rears to wear more than the fronts? I have driven BMW for the last 15 years and this is my first 4WD car so I am unsure what to expect tyre wise. I have never chewed through a set of tyres before 15000 miles despite some spirited driving!

My C43 went in and got the all clear as expected! Got 'the letter' advising winter tyres... I have asked if they have fitted any and they have fitted one set to a GLC but have not heard back from the person who owns it to say if it sorted the problem or not! Wait and see what happens as this...

The problem I have is that the car is great in every other way - I just want it sorted! We know it does not happen on LHD cars only the RHD cars are affected.... It has to be geometry..... The argument of changing to winters is a poor argument unless it affects both RHD and LHD vehicles...

Yes I would, it is annoying and you have to be careful but I am not looking to reject the car! That said it is on PCP and I have no intention of buying it outright as I change my cars every 2 - 3 years anyway....

It is definitely not skidding, it actually bounces....plus the power was applied very carefully and it was low speed.
