What I should of said is...if the owner was largely happy with the engine and power output (the near 400bhp of the later 5.5 is a healthy amount of power) where else would you put your cash?

The chain tensioner mate. l’ve found it’s discussed in the same manner as the Merc headbolt issue, some saying it’s rare, others saying it’s a matter of when not if! I live in the Midlands mate. Where is the Jag indie you know of?

Can’t give you any info on the car other than to say I recognise the car from being on AutoTrader for quite some time. Am I right in saying the ad said it’s had new brakes (which is obviously great for you as these are expensive items on the 63)? Let us know how you get on. And post up more...
