Petrol, after removing the badge, soak some kitchen roll in petrol, place against residue, leave for 30 mins then the reside scrapes off easily. Just done it to the double sided number plate tape, came of in less than a minute. I had been scraping for about 30 mins using WD40 etc without much...

Slightly off piste. Does anyone know if you can put your private plate on retention & immediately assign another private plate on the car, or does it have to go back to the original plate then you assign the new plate. This means they send you a new V5 with the original number then another V5...

Totally agree:) Only thing I have had on mine, was red paint on the rear callipers was coming off (not exactly a show stopper) Replaced under warranty (twice), no drama from main dealer either Insuring them down South is a big problem, either refusing to insure or eye watering sums:mad:
