back pressure sensor... i bet its full of soot, i cleaned mine up and it was fine. i had some isopropyl here, cotton buds, tissue etc, took my time, did not put pressure on the inner part of the sensor when cleaning so not to damage the sendor plate inside. keep going until its spotless in...

pull the egr and clean that too.

2006 cls, bet the inlet manifolds are absolutely coked up , swirl flap link arms loose, the heat exchange coked up also, oil cooler seals are probably the originals as well. Pull the egr clean it up, pull the back pressure give that a clean or replace, do the 02 sensor on the exhaust, check...

get it on a star system , clear the faults and then see what comes back.

Update: Just picked up the front springs, also got a new set of spring compressors, I am going to change the shocks as well but this won't be right now. When I have five mins free I am also going to pick the back up and check the rear springs, if theres corrosion over them then i will change...

Well it was mot day today and the car failed with no advisories. I took the car in and they guy noticed it sitting low on the drivers front, said it may be the spring gone. Put it on the lift and failed it as it had split, however there were no other advisories on the car , all the hard work...

I removed the cluster from the car last night and took it in the house. Just came out before work and plugged it back in and its working. Thank fk for that!! Getting a new battery today.

Update: Looks like the main battery is on its way out, will grab a new one tomorrow and replace, then see if all is ok.
