    GLC C43... Perhaps maybe....

As I suspected the usual negative response from some forum members who are probably still trying to up their Message stats. But may I suggest that instead of quoting 800+ posts etc.. You try reading the last few which made it clear that I was/and still am satisfied that the new RF tyres have...

    GLC C43... Perhaps maybe....

Yes I know.. But hey the Crabbing was addressed with the FOC runflats so as long as the GLC has them I'am reasonably confident that all would be well. But having been down that road I would be doing some proper cold weather testing on the GLC especially if it was fitted with 20/21'' wheels...

    GLC C43... Perhaps maybe....

May be shifting my C43 Estate in a few months for something larger. I Like the power output so maybe the GLC C43 might be worth a look. Will probably buy new and part/x mine at same dealer but hoping that decent discounts will be available as new GLC is out next year. Appreciate any views on...

    New Jaguar XF Sportbrake

All I am really interested in is Jags attempt at the 3.0 petrol estate range and nothing else and as their only 3.0 petrol estate is the XF Sportbrake it's the only car that I can refer to. End of.

    New Jaguar XF Sportbrake

OK but really I was more interested in Jags attempt at the 3.0 petrol estate market which doesn't exist at the moment and there doesn't appear to be any plans for it either...

    New Jaguar XF Sportbrake

I am more interested in 3.0 petrol estates than anything else and was curious about the new Jag Sportbrake. And for those of you that are ''bowing out'' that's fine with me as you don't appear to be adding much to this post.

    New Jaguar XF Sportbrake

I'm actually comparing 3l estate cars and didn't realise they had a 3.0 petrol in the XF Sportbrake range. But not sure I really care now still prefer my C43 as have previously owned a Jag and found it pretty unreliable but that's just my experience and I know others will have had different...

    W213 E63s 4Matic clunking... Anyone else?

Let me just add my view on this having just had new All Season tyres fitted to my C43 courtesy of MB. Now I know -for sure- because my dealer told me so... that the 4Matic E Class is also eligible for this offer. If it were me I would be straight on the phone to MB Customer Services and ask them...

    New Jaguar XF Sportbrake

Yep you said it all. But don't overlook the reason for my Post and that is the Jag is a 2.0 engine vs the MB's 3.0 so can't imagine what price the Jag would be if it was the same engine plant....

Mercedes GLC Clonking and juddering on near full steering lock

Fortunately the Crabbing issue will virtually if not totally disappear when your new All Season tyres are fitted -mine has- but it's an interesting theory to suggest MB could be liable for a lifetime of free tyres but I'll worry about that in around 10,000 miles time. Enjoy.....

    New Jaguar XF Sportbrake

Not sure how you managed to get to £58k for the C43 as mine listed for around £52k when I ordered in November 2016 with the extras in my sig before discount. But I think you would agree the Jag seems overpriced and the main point of my Post was that this is for a 2.0 petrol engine car. And by...

    New Jaguar XF Sportbrake

I built the Jag to match my C43 as best I could, eg. Black wheels, Black Pack, Pano roof etc.. and it came to over £52,000. Try it for yourself see what you get.

    New Jaguar XF Sportbrake

Yep tried to compare as best I could with my C43 and it came in at over £52,000.

    New Jaguar XF Sportbrake

Notice Jaguar are back on the estate scene with their new XF Sportbrake so being the curious type I configured up a similar car (R-Sport) to mine and it comes out at over £52,000!! Which you might think isn't too bad until you realise that's for a 2.0 litre 4 cylinder Turbocharged Petrol 250PS...

    SL400 vs C43 Engine

Or three small dogs and a child. My actual point was that it was interesting that MB sell two cars with the same power output -I accept they are different models so don't bother reminding me as I am not really comparing cars just engines- and one has been AMG'd and the other not. Perhaps we need...

    SL400 vs C43 Engine

Yep so assume the AMGness is all to do with tuning which I suppose makes sense.

    W204 C63 - footrest protector?

Do you think this will fit the 205 C Class?

    SL400 vs C43 Engine

Maybe but my interest is more to do with the AMG specification.

    SL400 vs C43 Engine

Is there any major differences between the engine in the SL400 and the new C43 as on paper the SL has a few more BHP but is slower from 0-60MPH but it's not classed as an AMG so assume the C43 has a few more technical benefits?

    W205/ S205 Wind Noise?

If you don't ask you don't get is my motto. And if this fails the glass costs around £60 a door (not sure how much to fit).
