I understand that there was a change to the body panels on the CL500 for model year 2004 to much lighter materials. Can anyone tell me what panel materials were changes and how much weight was saved? I'm sure I read some reviews a few years ago but can't find any information now! Thanks Tony

Dec - yes the alarm is definitely disconnected but wasn't working anyway. The garage disconnected it so there was no chance of it going off in the night!

All the electrics have stopped working in the drivers door following a flat battery and recharge. Most likely would seem to be the loom where it passes into the door but it looks untouched and the sheath is perfect. Is there a door control module in the door that might have failed? Any help...
