Engine Light on and no Water Temp Gauge

You need to get the error code read to understand the issue. I would keep a close eye on the water level in the mean time. Definitely don't drive if the water level appears low.

What to use with Coolant Tap water, Distilled or deionized?

Don't think I would ever use tap water as the tap water around us is full of minerals.

    Odd W204 issue

The car starts and runs fine, but... When I stop to wait for some and turn the ignition off and leave the key in, the radio and dash cut out after a few seconds. Both the radio and dash go complete blank. After a few seconds the dash re displays but no radio. The key is still in the ignition at...

W204 Steering lock mechanical fault diagnosed

Yes I head that light tapping can free the offending pin within the column. The ELS seams to be the issue and I have seen some online adverts saying they can do same day replacement as the carry spares for the exact issue

    MY CL500 starting problem

Most things should show a fault diagnosis, I assume they have a proper star diagnostic tool?. My dad had an issue with a after marked security device, that went faulty and shut the fuel pump off every so often. So it's always possible. As always with intermittent issues , it hard to track them...

    Injector Cleaner

I have seen before and after results of a professional garage clean system the show a vast improvement in lower the co2 i.e cleaner burning engine. The test said consumer solutions are unlikely to offer much benefit.

    glowplug stuck

Note comment from above as easy to snap them. Clean the area wd40 and with a hot engine , put an ice cube on it and gently tighten and then try and loosen.

    Oil level rising on dipstick

Clouds of white smoke = unburnt fuel. The oil level raise implies that the fuel is getting into the sump also. So I wondering how did they test those injectors and have you check the ecu is signal is getting to the injector i.e. broken wire or ecu fault.

    Aircon test procedure

Older cars used better gas and therefore went very cold, new cars with smaller compressor and less effective gas do seam to struggle, thu it saves the pins and needles when over doing

front right malfunction airbag s350d lwb 2014

It's like to be a connector under the seat or one of the sensors, most likely the one in the seat. With luck it will go away with a reset. Mine needed a new sensor in the seat which is a fiddly job. Always cheaper if you can find a good indie.

    R170 MAF issues

A cheap MAF is generally a no no. The system works by measure the O2 in the exhaust system and with the MAF data to calc's the correct amount of petrol to inject. The issue is that if you have a misfire you dump a load of petrol in the exhaust and courses miss reading as no spark = loads on...

    C63 W205 Stardard Exhaust Replacement

I think I'd look for a custom system with a baffleless end box and free flow cat. You would need it remapping to get the benefit thu. I think most values are electric.

    Help! W209 keeps cutting out

Well the first step is to get the codes read with any fault like this. So unfortunately the only way to move forward is to get it booked in.

R350 - Electric air pump/Secondary air injection pump

If the fuse is blowing it’s either the pump or a short circuit. If the relay is bust it may just because the pump is faulty. I would disconnect the pump and see if the relay clicks and the fuse does not blow. That will tell you if it’s the pump or a short. My money would be on the pump!

2014 CLA - DPF and Running Temp

No sure for curtain, but it would make some sense, as pumping loads of diesel into the engine with the aim of making the exhaust gas hotter must surely make the engine hotter too.

    Blown Engine CLK 280

Cheaper to get the moped as it mush have been a pretty souped up one!

2nd to 1st gear clunk .... limp mode

The code suggests an issue with the waste gate, I guess the O2 sensor code being a hole load of diesel being dumped into the system.

    Adblue Heater

I think it's there for cold climates as Adblue freezes at -11c, so not such a big issue within the UK.

    Oil level rising on dipstick

It will strip all the protective carbon off the bores and and score them badly.
