Hi I’d like to join in with my similar problem. My W203 has a NTG2 and it’s started asking for the navigation disc to be inserted, despite being removed / reinstalled, removed cleaned on trouser leg and reinstalled it still asks for the disc. Is this a recognised easy low cost repair? (haha)...

Many thanks for the help guys, the vin decoders only tell me what I already know I.e. 7 speed. There’s no dipstick, so Markjay wins the prize with the list of gearbox codes. I’m going for the 722.9 7G, coz I’ve got 7 gears. Many thanks again.
