bump- so finally sorted the problem a while back, the noise was coming from the spring coils touching, we put rubber sleeves over the coils and no noise since, just in case anyone else encounters a similar issue

update- had to have the suspension removed and standard springs back in, absolutely really disappointed as the mechanic could not find fault and doesnt know whats causing the noise, have ordered a set of AP Coilovers which come in 2 weeks, really hope they work

Even on long journeys it isnt good, these cars should be alot more fuel effiecient, especially since they are blue effeciency models with eco mode

hi guys I think my car is quite sore on fuel, it has 37000 miles and been serviced recently etc it is avergaing around 30-32mpg it is a 2011 c220 cdi sport, others I know are getting 50-60 mpg my driving is mostly short 30mins journeys the car is automatic
