Front number holder: flat not curved

I really don't understand what your still banging on about  All I did was share my experience to help others who may come across a similar situation. I never asked if the plate holders looked nice or fussy or if the number plates were legal, or if you had seen another car with...

Front number holder: flat not curved

Update to this thread. I could not found a flat front plate holder but did manage to find a pair of Wurth plate holders with the front one being curved. The front curved plate holder matches the curve of the original mounting plate exactly: Here are pics of the plates in the new plate...

Front number holder: flat not curved

Its a CLA 220d and is the wife's car. I will take a better look at the front plate and holder this evening, take a few pics. Will mull over the options available and if it would be possible to somehow fabricate/cobble together a flat plate holder. I advice you to get the Halfords plates and...

Front number holder: flat not curved

Was my attempt as sarcasm, was only thinking the above was not helping ;) But without a holder don't you still have to deal with curving the plate to fit the curve in the front bumper?

Front number holder: flat not curved

I am fitting 4d plates to my C117 and was wondering if its possible to swap the front number plate holder from a curved one to one that holds the plate flat? It would make fitting the front plate a lot easier as it would not have to be heated and curved to fit, which is not easy with a 4d plate...

2011 C180 pulling to the left

Hi All, The car is pulling to the left quite noticeably. A few months back the original alloys were swapped for genuine 18" ones with branded tyres. I can't remember if the car pulled left on the original alloys as they were swapped out soon after we bought it. I have read the related...

    Fitting electric folding mirrors

Oooerr did not think of that. Is there a way to tell if I will need them or not? Would it help if I take a pic of the controllers already in place?

    Fitting electric folding mirrors

Yes its an SE and the mirrors do not fold electronically (as far as I know). Unless as kam05 says they are activated from the display? Understand I will need switch pack and coding. Was just wondering if the light underneath can be coded to work or if I need to avoid those mirrors. I think it...

    Fitting electric folding mirrors

Hi All, Looking into fitting electric folding mirrors to our 2011 W204. The current ones are the arrow type but do not fold. I have noticed some mirrors have a small light underneath them and others do not. Does it matter if they have the light underneath? I think it looks cool  Cheers
