    Carpet Stain Removal help.

Top stuff thanks for the advice, I'll make a trip for some more efffective cleaners that will hopefully budge it. I was going to attempt to mix up a paste with some vanish and work it in and let it fizz away for a few minutes but I'll have a look for this Halfords removed as well!

Another (not so) New E55 owner..

Hopefully going forwards everything should be less stressful and a lot calmer (until you press the loud pedal that is!) It may even be the case that at some point i spot you as you are not a million miles away from me (Northants) :D

    Carpet Stain Removal help.

Maybe if all else fails i'll use that technique to create a permanent "striped" effect. :D

    Carpet Stain Removal help.

So when i recently gave the inside of the CLS a clean and removed the passenger side floor mat i found a secret lurking deep down. A large, what i presume to be Coffee Stain. I have no idea how long this has been here and attempted to remove this at the weekend. Fortunately i own a VAX 6131T...

    Reflection Shots

I Think with some time and patience silver can get some good gloss and reflection, Okay maybe not as much as black but still nothing to be shrugged at. url=https://ibb.co/bAGSD5][/url] Also my daily driver is white so that has the same problem, even that has some nice shine though.

    Hunting for the CLS 55!

Have you stumbled across this one? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201847741263 IWC edition but that means it may not be to everyone's taste. This one is stunning but then it comes with the price to back it! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/222443287843

    Karcher or Nilfisk

I think it may depend at what price range you are going to enter the market in to what you get. I have had both a K2 and currently have a K4 Compact, now if i am correct the K2 is a plastic air cooled motor, but the K4 is a metal water cooled unit and as such is alot more durable. I have had...

3rd party car detailing: Emporer's New Clothes?

You would be very surprised at what difference it can make, maybe not so much on a brand new vehicle but on something that has had its fair share of weathering, use and washes it can make a big impact. For instance the below picture is of a section of a bonnet that i had cleansed...

    Bilt Hamber Car Shampoo

Huge fan of this also, very little is needed to add to the bucket and in terms of pence per wash it is huge value, stays slippy and helps the mitt glide for a long time as well. It doesn't have some of the "extra's" that you find in some other shampoo's but if your car is well prepped and waxed...

3rd party car detailing: Emporer's New Clothes?

I Agree with the above that a good detailer should be able to list everything that he has done but more so, why he has done it. It would be natural to not expect to have to have paint correction on a brand new vehicle (sometimes you may be surprised) but you would hope things such as swirl marks...

    Winter Recovery Mission

So as the winter is slowing becoming spring, i thought it was a good time to get the CLS into a respectable state again and i had a spare day to do so. Started with my usual wash method. This involved a good soak in Magifoam, pressure rinsed off after dwelling followed by a two bucket wash...

    New Member CLS55

Hi All, Had my CLS55 for just over 6 months now, sorted out a few niggles (seat control box, ball joints, blocked cats) and slowly getting her in tip top shape. Also did a few mods, Black grill, Black wheels, side badges, Carbon Wrapped pillars, decat and remap. Safe to say though one of...
