I discovered that the OHP was only receiving approx. 3.5 volts and on using the live wire (black and red I think)...

Fixed I decided to check the voltage to the overhead panel again which was only about 3.5v. Therefore, I decided to go ahead and add a new earth (negative) to the plug. This has worked like a dream and everything appears to be sorted. I will go and check after dark and update this thread if needed.

Hi Martin I have a similar issue on my S211 in that no interior lights work at all (using switches or automatically) neither do the alarm sensors, auto-dimming command display, wipers, and lights. Did you ever get yours sorted - Thanks John

I am using a Maxiscan Ms309 made by Proscan. Mercedes source on Youtube recommended it.
