What’s the hold function and do 18 c63s have it?

Always had dust. Now loads on rear, fronts ok, after new disc =pads fitted by merc dealer?

Be interested if anyone in uk has used ceramic pads for the c63. Seen a lot of American brands, but the uk brands I’ve seen don’t list for c63?

Understand but not had the vast extremities of dust front/ rear for the last 10k?

Disc and pads that came off were under half worn and gave off a fair amount of dust but even front rear. Rears now are super dusty, fronts fine? Should I be querying with dealer?

Surely merc would only use oem pads? Cars always had dust issues but not to this extreme and fairly even front to rear on old pads?

Purple I is individual mode, so presume you have selected this inadvertently. You have comfort, sport, sport plus and then individual. On a c63 it’s a silver toggle switch on the centre console. My 2018 c63 has its first year service today. Says rear pads Amber 4mm. I presume this is 4mm left? What’s a new pad have? No way I will be paying mb to change them. My biggest gripe is the awful brown dust they make. I’m trying not to move away from oem but I think I am going to be forced...

Thank you. Service 3 seems to be the expensive one for c63 as I was quoted £1200. It was explained to me as a balance of savings as such so catching it right wouldn’t make any difference as you could owe money in some cases? Do I have this wrong?

Surely additional items are separate and the services are fixed depending on which service is due? I was told as per my other post service 1 is 420, 2 560 ish, can’t recall exact figure and 3 is £1200. Nothing would be added as fixed?
