All I Can Say is; Yippee!

Well, after 12 weeks I'm back ! 😊 I've sold the Volvo and, whilst it won't replace the SL in my affections, I'm very happy to report I am the very pleased owner of GLc 250D AMG Line. She is 7 years old, but, apart from from the usual and expected gravel scuff on the bonnet and 2 wheels needing...

    Taxed by the Mile

Well, it was always the fairest way to spread Vehicle Excise Duty, but, has been studiously ignored by every government since the early 50's Maybe the time is now, rather than waiting until EVs are in the majority...

    Replacing my Seat Belts

Planning to replace the seat belts in my 2012 R231 SL. Easy? Special tools? I know the belts could be rare(ish) and thus expensive, due to the colour, but, I'll bite that bullet when I know what sort of job it is.

Vitamin D3 and it's effect on Covid

Forumites As the OP of the original 'Covid' thread, I fully understood why it was locked. With this thread I am not trying to replace the original and I am absolutely sure that, if this one goes the same way as the last, it too, will be closed, and fast. In saw this on another forum and it got...

I'm Looking for an R230 SL Interior Rear Trim Panel

Forumites I'm hoping to find the part listed below for less than the £1,100+ quoted by my MB main dealer. I have to say that I'm often happy to buy a MB part, at a premium, but, £1,100+ for a moulded plastic part that, at most, costs about £50, is a bit too steep for my pocket. I'd hoped that it...

    A Tale of Woe

Forumites A salutary tale, including a note, of warning and a call for care. On Friday 23rd July, my son and I drove to Bournemouth for the funeral of my youngest niece, who died aged 36. I wasn't feeling right when we left and soon after the ceremony was finished, I felt bad enough to hand over...

Refurbished Nextbase 112 Dash Cam at Halfords

This may not be news, but, I thought it worth a mention. I have one in my car . . . .certainly not the very best, but reasonable night vision and at £19.99, I think it's worth the money, so bought one for the rear window on the wifes Kuga.
