Hello, I am hoping that someone can help point me in the right direction! I need to check the power steering fluid level on my w203 c220 cdi, but can't find where or how to do it... the manual is no help! Thanks... hopefully it will be low and will explain the groaning noise!:rolleyes:

Yep, got it back from the garage today. It was a broken spring. Total cost £268 - parts and labour to fix the spring, change the glow plugs and fix the seat. Pretty much what I was expecting!

Could be... a couple of days ago it went twang and the noise has now stopped... thinking about it, I think you are right! :D

Thats what I think, it happens when I go over a speed bump with only one wheel...

That's good news and about what I guessed! I reckon about an hour for the seat and I want him to have a look at the suspension because it was making a knocking from the back (which has now stopped, typical!). 3.5 to 4 hours should cover it... at £50 an hour inc vat :D:D, there are still some...

I have thought about doing the seat myself, but I'm not too happy messing about with the seats with airbags in, plus since it's got to go in the garage anyway...:o I am taking to a local garage who I use a fair bit (and trust:p, not that I wouldn't trust a main dealer or pay their labour rate:eek:)

To replace all glow plugs and fix passenger side electric seat, assuming that the glow plugs don't snap and the seat problem is caused by the wiring shorting on the seat frame. The car is a 2003 c220 cdi... just after a rough idea how many hours labour to expect? :confused: :confused:

Yeah, or just a really clogged up court system! Its not unusual for a case to take over a year to go to court :crazy:

Don't worry about it, as long as she was contactable at that address there is no problem... if you are lucky enough to have a holiday home where you live for the summer you don't have to change your address to that every summer because you are still contactable at your winter address

With a milage that low you have got to wonder what it has been used for! I have heard that doing such a low milage over a long period of time can be cause problems....

A couple of weeks ago the electric adjustment for the passenger side front seat in my 2003 w203 stopped working. I changed the fuse and it started working again, but, suprise suprise the fuse has blown again. Are there any common areas of weakness to check, or should I just start with the...
