I have a 1988 300ce and was wondering how can you tell if the car is a sportline model? Would it say on the V5 or can you find out using the chassis number? My car sits loe front anf back. The suspension looks old/surface rust covering shocks and springs at the rear and the front looks like it...

Thanks for the info Andy. Not sure if the seats are mb tex or leather. The chap did say they were leather but i dont mind what type they are as they will be a vast improvement on my cream cloth seats. I dont mind manual adjustment. Less to go wrong. rgds

Hi are there inner wing panels available for the w124 coupe? My 1988 w124 coupe inner wings have a lot of rot on both sides near the front of car. Is it a case of cutting out the rust and welding in new metal? kind rgds
