    Time and Date

Hi … this is a well known fault on the ‘s’. It has now been recognised by MB and if you go to a dealer there is a software update they can do (they will also probably remove your ‘trousers’ for the privilege of fixing their fault!!!!) If your Ok with a simple fix ( but you have to do it twice a...

    Xenon hid bulb

Ok thanks, will get that done by a ‘Star’ system. You are totally correct ... just out of curiosity I opened up the old ballast unit and sure enough there was tiny signs of corrosion down one side. I’ve taken the precaution of putting a few pack of absorbing crystals inside the light unit behind...

    Xenon hid bulb

Great info thanks. The ones fitted to this car are ‘adaptive’ xenon’s. This now makes a lot of sence as when I use to start the car and switch on the lights in the garage the both use to move around all over the place before settling into a driving position. (Now only the nsf unchanged one does...

    Xenon hid bulb

(CL63 AMG C216) Hi ... recently had to change the OSF xenon hid bulb with no effect so had to change the ballast (situated under the light unit)!!! Light now works but noticed that main/high beam doesn’t work in that light. I’ve read that the main beam is created in xenon lights by a...

    Cornering Lights

Hi All .... need a bit of help please. (2007 CL63 AMG C216) Noticed recently that the right hand cornering light (inside the headlight) was not coming on and the left one when activated would flicker constantly. My understanding is these lights only activate when:- - it’s dark - headlights are...

    CL63 AMG...ABC system

Hi—- I’ve found the problem, so just wanted to post the outcome in case anybody should ever have the same issue. Upon removing the n/s/r wheel found the end of the linkage arm that goes from the body height sensor to the axel had snapped off!!!! On checking the o/s/r also, found it was about to...

    CL63 AMG...ABC system

Hi ... bit of advice on where to start looking! Recently had the (amber/yellow) ‘ABC malfunction’ come up on the dash. It has continued to do this each time the car is started after approx 50 meters. The car seems to jack itself to the maximum height (front and back) and stay there (even when...

For info and just to let you know outcome .... Merc specialist did the routine due 'c' service then plugged into car and found wheel sensors (particularly o/s/f had flagged up 196 times!!! He took car for drive while still plugged in and confirmed they were all working so he removed each one...

    No throttle response

Thanks also .... my initial thoughts were because the car works normally some of the time it wasn't the TPS but willing to try anything .... will start with the MAF and a Merc specialist with the diagnostic equipment to find if a fault has been logged in the memory?

    No throttle response

Ok thanks ... have booked an independent Merc specialist with the latest diagnostic equipment to look at car on Wednesday..... he seems to think that because it flashes the warning triangle before it works it may leave something in the memory for us to work with.

    No throttle response

Any ideas please ..... (2007 CL63 AMG) Car drives brilliantly most of the time. When cold no issues at all. Particularly in hot weather and when car is up to normal operating temperature when you come to a COMPLETE stop at lights or junction and go to move off there is no response from the...
