it is now sorted ,i had to take it to the main stealers though,they said it was a control module in the passenger door which they changed and it didnt fix it but they also then found a short circuit under the back seat somewhere where the wires go to one of the fuse boxes,,this sorted it out ok...

Just a quick line to tell you all out there that use SPR autos of macclesfield that they have moved to carrington rd in stockport, just off the M60 and very handy,bigger premises too,steves an ex mercedes main dealer technician and well worth a visit, low labour charges and better than the main...

i,ve got a 1998 W210 E200 which has the cloth seating which are a light cream colour(not sure of the colour name)which are starting to look a bit grubby, any one have any idea of the best way to clean them?any help would be appreciated.

can anyone tell me the best way to replace the front near side side light bulb on my 1998 E200 (W210) auto saloon, it is a nightmare to get to has the windsreen washer bottl and the power steering oil reservoir is in the way and though i can get the cover off the back of the light unit i cant...

i have 98 W210 E200 saloon, and i,m having problems with the front windows and elec mirrors not working,if i take out number 16 fuse for half anhour they start working again ,but after a few days they stop again, sometimes just the drivers side ,sometimes just the passenger side ,sometimes both...

any one know of any independant specialists in the stockport/south mcr areas?i,ve heard that SPR autos are good at macclesfield,any one had dealings with them?thanks.
