    A True Icon

Before anyone shoots me down: I know it's not a Mercedes! But like me, I'm sure the majority of forum users are car enthusiasts and therefore will appreciate this most iconic of cars. It wasn't built in Stuttgart but Ingolstadt but I thought I'd share it with you all the same. Some if not most...

    Mini Grand Tour trip

With this warm weather we're experiencing up here it was a breath of fresh air (quite literally) to have our own wee grand tour. Headed over to Ullapool for Easter lunch with sister in the CLK on some of the UK's best roads. The A835 is just magical, winding its way west from us to Ullapool...

    Beelzebub came to stay

I had a friend (and his lovely wife) come to stay last night. A spot of dinner, some drinks and laughs. What I hadn't reckoned with was having Beelzebub; one of the seven princes of hell also present!! Because when it fired up and spat fire and Damnation out of the quad exhaust pipes I thought...

    The Other German Sportscar Marque

This afternoon, instead of valeting real cars I vacuumed the dust off of this lot, using a soft brush attachment. 52 Porsches (my collection from 1951-2002), 1 Ferrari, 1 Moggie Minor and a group of my favourite Racing Motorcycles. (Minichamps) They really need a glass cabinet but that's full...

I know some of you members have these to play with whenever you feel the urge but last evening I was given the pleasure of having a play around with one of these (not this actual one I hasten to add). Got lost today...

I had some free time this afternoon so fired up my lovely CLK, having not driven it for 2 weeks, and went for a splash of petrol. Got accidentally on purpose lost ;) and ended up at my favourite deli. 15° & sunny in the Highlands, Caramel Latté and this elegant view. My day was made!
