Thinking about a Sony Vaio PC

I use a 17" Vaio laptop and it's been bulletproof since new. It looks old and tatty now after I spilled thinner over it and the keys are worn but starts every morning with a touch of the button and stays whole day running without any hassles.

    Diff oil.Is this grade correct?

As long as it meets MB 235.7 spec it's OK. However, the MB oil is special for hypoid gears and the viscosity is 85W90. I changed mine some time back and several people told me to stick to this oil (or the newer fuel saver 75W85 that is much more expensive) to avoid risking the health of the diff.

Is it the MAF??? Help needed please!

Brand new developments! Took the car to MB dealer for code reading and possible diagnosis of maladies affecting the gearbox. No error codes found except for P2000. As this is related to ESP and had to be connected to another complaint/error (as per dealer), it was put aside. As such, dealer took...

Is it the MAF??? Help needed please!

Doesn't it have an output shaft sensor? Or is it the same as you mentioned? Anyway, what are the other syptmos for sensor plate malfunction? Would it get any better with MAF cleaning or replacement? That's what puzzles me. Whenever I touch the MAF, the car goes better.
