    Exhaust Tips

I've openly said mine are shocking and wouldn't suggest it to anyone purely for how dogshit mine look! Options are get a exhaust off another Merc or a custom, neither are overly cheap but £80 for a tip is insane. Plus when it looks like that, Christ.

£79.99 for that is a rip off, they are disgusting.

    Exhaust Tips

I had the exact same issue with my C180K, I actually angle grind the existing pipes off quite far back to ensure the existing couldn't be seen through the tips. Was a right faff and the end result looked naff to say the best but that't what i'm left with for now. I'm going to get booked...

    Rapid remaps

Thanks. Sadly selling up isn't really an option, this has only 40k miles on the clock and bought from my cousin who looked after it immaculately so I know it's a good car. I sold a 05 impreza with 350bhp so I certainly miss the poke but it was the right family move, I don't actually drive...

    Rapid remaps

Ah great thank you! No rush! I'm new to the world of Mercedes, but handy to have you guys so close to me!

    Rapid remaps

Well thats not ideal. Maybe i'll scrap the idea of remapping then, I'll speak to Olly and see what he says.

    Rapid remaps

If anyone can work out from this what engine I have, that would be great.

    Rapid remaps

Nice one thank you. I have to say, being on numerous other owners clubs in my time, none have been anywhere has helpful or as friendly as this one.

Thanks will give him a shout today. In reference to the engine, how would I find out if I have the M271?

    Rapid remaps

Has anyone heard of Rapid remaps based in Portsmouth? I've checked my car with topgear tuning who offer an ok remap but never wanted to go ahead as the difference wasn't really worth it. Rapid remaps can offer the same BHP increase but an lot more torque. I'm tempted but not heard of them...

Ha no worries! This is the front end, I think a splitter will help it look better. It's the same as the picture minus the bonnet badge, it's now the flat badge. Like I say, it's simply the back end I'm not keen on! Might just end up buying a new rear bumper.

I have the front with nightbreakers already, but yes I might look to get sport bumpers, I have a friend who owns a paint shop so second hand is fine as I can get them repaired and painted easily. Where are good online shops for new Merc parts without going direct obviously.

    W204 rear bumper ideas

It's the base model SE I believe. It's a great family car and I got it off my cousin who doesn't care about cars so he bought it brand new and got the base model sadly. I just want to jazz it up slightly. All I want to do is get a new twin exhaust single outlet if I can find the right...

Good idea too! I've found this diffuser which I think I'll go for instead of the facelift version. Shame it's not single outlet though as I'd prefer single twin opposed to dual.

You can see what I mean, at the minute it's just a bit meh. I think a proper twin exhaust on the left might be enough to make it better as I'm not sure buying a new bumper etc will add that much really. I also think two twins like the C63 will be too much for the car that it is.
