Refreshing the coolant is a good idea since you’re replacing the thermostat. Ring your local dealer for the coolant specification. MB coolant it’s reasonably priced so you may want to get it from there.

The shaking won't go away if the mount is gone. Check the plugs too.

I would do an oil change. Not sure if that's the case but 50k of town driving wears the box a lot quicker than just motorway cruising. Genuine MB oil is a must. I don't think it'll throw any codes but an OBD scan may help too. The sooner you visit a specialist/dealer - the better.
