Not C63 - 350cdi ???

I purchased the car and discovered that the DPF has been gutted and probably had the EGR deleted also. To return the vehicle to legal condition, is it just a case of fitting the DPF and getting it remapped? Presumably this can only be done at the same time? Cheers guys

Not a problem - just thinking out loud. we have all seen the oil that accumulates at the turbo inlet that come from the oil breathing arrangement. what happens to the oil when it gets to the resonator and the intercooler? Is the a drain valve or something? and should/can it be easily done?

Evening all. So, I’ve changed the PCV but there is still oil present at the turbo inlet, and car smokes a little on boost.(so I’m told, from car behind) my thinking is to fit a oil catch can to prevent this. is this the way forwards? Has anyone fitted one else fitted one? and can recommend...

Has anyone had experience of having their gearbox remapped or flashed? Was there much of a difference? Was it worth getting done? who did/supplied it? I personally would like quicker shifts and less slip.

Just changed thermostat on my 350cdi - had to remove the alloy pipework from turbo that goes to a plastic housing mounted to front of engine. can someone tell me what the housing is and its function please? thanks in advance

W204 C350CDI I’ve looked in owners manual and there is no explanation on how this operates. Can someone explain why the button light- therefore the stop/start function goes on and off please? Is it something to do with DPF regen? I just don’t get it!!

Coming from a C63 and now driving a C350 CDI sport Plus. I would like to reduce body roll on the car. Would fitting C63 anti roll bars help? I presume they are thicker/stiffer and would be a straight swap. Thanks Graham

Does anyone have or know if there are any seat protectors that fit the front seats of C63? I have tried a couple but are way too small. 👍🏻

hi The temperature is displayed on dash dial when engine off, but when turned on this disapeers. is there an option somewhere to enable this display when engine is on? as obviously it would be useful This time of year. thanks
