Had to the same on my previous S212 ( on both front seats). The elemetns can be obtained at Mercedes parts counter and they are not uber expensive. Toko me around 3 hours to do both seats, not a very complicated job but a bit fiddly and a nice pair or tweezers helps a lot!

I am with Smiley on this one...If you are after MPG, I would consider a nice W213 220d with the nice OM654.

Depending on the Monitor Audio golds, you might find that is is the Amp / synergy that is not ideal :)

17 inches will defenitely fit even with the largest stock brakes... ( had them on my old S212 with 4 pot calipers and 344mm discs) 16 inch wheels might be a bit of a push, if you have 4 pot calipers.. will most likely fit on 322mm disc and floating calipers

I though / think the point of the S class is to keep it nice, understated, classy and elegant? Or at least, I bought mine for those reasons...

Having had a S211, S212 and W221 ( facelift) in the space of two years, the S class wins by a large margin in comfort / noise isolation / ride quality and quality. You just feel the quality in the plastics / leather / interior build, not that the C & E are bad, but the S is a just another level...

Ignore me, your Valve Block has 6 connections as per the W221...Can you run a few leak tests just confirm a valve block fault? The valve blocks used to fail a bit on W22Os. but only after quite a few years or very high mileage

if you need a genuine Valve block, I might have a one as I bougth one by mistake. This a genuine Mercedes one) Can you confirm the part code of your valve block or take a full picture ? thank you
