My cam cover is showing signs of bubbling andd flaking paint on the underside of the cover. I am concerned that bits of flaking paint will end up in the engine if I don't clear and repaint the cover. Can anyone suggest the best way to deal with this, can I just buy heat and oil resistant paint...

I am trying to remove the exhaust cam sproket in order to release the chain but before I do any damage, I want to know if the trox bolts holding the Exhaust cam sproket are left or right threaded. I have already broken one trox bit in the process, then realised I was using the wrong type.
