Thanks for your help @bob6600 - really good to know the owners community is friendly and helpful. having briefly looked at some possible remap options it seems it can be boosted back up to a much more please level for a fairly reasonable cost so happy days.

You Sir (or Madam, just to be PC) are an absolute legend, thank you so very much. Looks to the untrained eye thats its got a pretty decent spec list, glad to see the AMG bits listed from factory (log book doesn't mentioned AMG at all, presume this is common). Double cup holders, wooohooo :o)...
