According to the manual, you have to manually use the parking brake release/engage button. Assume it automatically engages and then you manually release.

There is no lurch. The parking brake (hand brake) is also totally automatic. You just stop with the foot brake, put it in P and the car will automatically apply the parking brake. When you set off again, change to D, and the parking brake is automatically released so you can accelerate.

Here is v1.0.16 which worked for me.

Does it have 41.75GB free space when NTFS formatted? What version of the download manager are you using on the PC?

Sounds like you were lucky. On a previous car I had all the chrome trim replaced under warranty as it went 'cloudy' in a couple of years from new. Not sure if it was maybe caused by the sun or harsh chemicals in the local 'hand car wash'. Kept the car covered and away from those hand wash...

Ok for 5.5 you need NTFS not FAT32. Would suggest formatting a USB stick then trying again. You can use an SD card if that’s all you have (also NTFS formatted) but ‘usb is recommended’. Needs to have 41.75GB available for the map... assume you have the pin for V16.0 maps.

Ah ok. I will share it later. I only had luck on a PC. Nothing worked on a Mac. It won’t be looking for original software, my USB drive was totally empty when I started. What NTG version do you have? Fat32 is only for 4.5 and only works with USB not SD cards.

Did the link for 16 above not work? I’d your drive NTFS formatted? (Or ExFat depending on the requirements).

Ah didn’t notice you were outside the U.K. What country are you in? Amazon could be another option.

How long as in how long did the odour go away for? Permanently. Went for ‘new car scent’... no complaints. I ran the fans on max for 15 mins or so and then left the car closed at the end of the day overnight. By the morning it was ok to drive with the windows open.

I used at least half a can in one go. Didn’t have any issue with dust or anything like that. Was enough to remove the smoke smell in one hit.

I used a Dakota Odour Bomb to remove cigarette smells from a car. 100% satisfied - smell was exterminated completely. Would definitely recommend.
