Have you checked the oil level? It may just be a built in warning that MB recommend that the oils changed every 6months or 6000 miles. It’s a bit ott but is a standard recommendation these days.

I would recommend it if you have any OCD tendencies. I have a black car with black wheels, I pressure wash, then snow foam, then pressure wash it down and dry if it’s just a bit dusty. And would recommend using it if the cars filthy to remove as much dirt as possible before getting a mitt on it...

I don’t know how easy the actual MB map is to get hold of, but whoever maps it will be setting it up very similarly I presume?

Really, Is pedal lag common after a remap then? I checked the website out and it all looks good but did you have it set back to stock and then add the pedal box?

Evening all, Would you recommend cleaning black alloy wheels with standard alloy wheel cleaners? I’ve got some Williams racing wheel cleaner to use up.

My mate said exactly the same thing but he’s a wind up merchant so I took it with a pinch of salt! I went and got some Autosol today and gave them a go in position and they came up lovely with minimal work!!! They’ll be off this weekend and done properly.

From nothing other than oven cleaner as an option to multiple options, thanks guys! If it makes the job easier I’m in, I’m happy having the arms of a 14yr old boy :)

I would say go petrol to be honest or drive faster at higher revs but you’ll get some looks!

Hi guys, I have a 2018 E400 with carbon build up on the exhaust tips. Does anyone have any tips on how to remove it safely without scratching them? I may be being a bit of a tart but with them so close to the body work I’m flapping about using wire wool or oven cleaners as a mate suggested!
