I had a new key made for my car from Mercedes as I only had one key. They deleted the key that I did not have from the system and hence rendered it useless.

There is a test that can be done on Star Diagnostics to check the Torque Converter. The TC can be disabled and you can drive the car to see if the symptoms have disappeared. Once the TC has been disabled, it remains disabled until you restart the car. I can try and dig out how you do this...

Your fault may be different then, when I had the problem with mines, there was no indication inside the car that the indicators were working, but on the outside they were fine.

Can you drive it for 30 mins or so and see how you get on, I recall when I had the issue, I fully charged the battery and it still did not come back on until after a good drive. Failing that you will need to get the cluster checked or repaired, link on other post, you can call them first...

Good luck, if you can find an indie with the mb diag software who is familiar with this car then that should save you some money.

A weak battery can cause the issues you describe. I would get the battery checked but then again a 120 mile continuous drive would have charged up the battery. Also have a look at: https://forums.mbclub.co.uk/threads/dashboard-stopped-working.106731/

Have you had the codes read using a diag machine? Ideally a star will help diagnose as you can test the motors and it will show any fault codes on the ecu’s. IIRC you can test the buttons too and manually manipulate the motors to check they are all working correctly,

Let us know how you get on, be a shame to scrap the car especially as it has no rust. Did you get the car scanned and if so did it throw up any errors? Also I assume you have manually tried ti raise and lower the top? Mines is a W209 and it did play up and manually lowering the roof seemed...

No problem, seems to be pointing at the 02 sensor and fuel pressure. I am not familiar with the Autel, but you may be able to get some actual values that may help troubleshooting.

Hi all Does any one know how to temporarily disable the above on 722.6 transmission? I have read that it can be disabled for troubleshooting and once the car is switched off and back on it resets back to default. I have access to Star SDS. Ta
