    C63 W204 Query

Oil leaks are common on these, can be very difficult to pinpoint the exact location, but for minor leaks in the mid to upper part of the engine, best left alone. Don't see many C63 W204 without some kind of minor leak.

    Big thumbs up to www.pro-calipers.co.uk

Hopefully someone else will benefit like I have, was great to put the brakes back together and have them all bled nicely.

    Big thumbs up to www.pro-calipers.co.uk

Hi lads, On doing some brake work on the car recently, the brake nipples where found to be almost all snapped on my car. Had some horrible quotes from local garages, and scare stories. Had a browse online and found www.pro-calipers.co.uk Sent them off to Thomas at Pro Calipers, had them back...

Where to find C63 W204 brake pad fitting kits / pad pins

That explains it perfectly, seen it with other manufacturers before, just like to be sure :) Could you answer another question? A few of the bleed screws are dodgy, so going to replace those as well, front and rear. I have found this part number A0004214765 again just trying to confirm it is...

Where to find C63 W204 brake pad fitting kits / pad pins

Hi, I'm trying to find the brake pad retaining pins for the C63 W204 with standard non ceramic brake setup. Doing the rear discs/pads/shoes soon and the current pads are seized solid, so want to have replacements to hand rather than try to salvage the old pins. Can't seem to source them...

    Hydrogen power internal combustion engines

We should have more nuclear plants, the latest designs are so much better, just we don't actually have much nuclear techs or knowledge in the UK, we need to get other countries like France to help us out, and they will then charge sky high electricity prices like what will happen at Hinkley Point C.

    Hydrogen power internal combustion engines

Most of the power for electric vehicles is produced using fossil fuels in power stations. EV will make sense once all fuel is created using renewables. Until then EV power is not clean due to where it comes from.

    Unbelievable !!!

We are all allowed our opinions, are we not? And it doesn't speak highly, lowly or anywhere in between with regards to myself, if you can judge a person based on that, you are very gifted. London may be the capital, doesn't mean we have to like it, many do, many don't.

    Unbelievable !!!

    Alloy corrosion

If you get them diamond cut again, this will happen again, it's unfortunate side effect of the look. The alloy wheel place I use offer a 2 year warranty on most finishes, but only 30 days on diamond cut wheels.

    Build quality.

I find that most modern cars rattle, due to the sheer amount of plastic or plastic backed trim pieces littering the full interior. Any performance type car will also suffer worse due to harder suspension/damping. Then how they have been treated in life will further affect things.

    Laptop advice

An i3 is absolutely fine for doing these types of tasks, our 20 site laptops we use as engineers in our dept are all i3s, 8gb ram and an ssd and they are totally fine, and they harder work than they would with a school kid.

Remove side skirts on W204 C63

Anyone removed the side skirts recently on a w204 c63 2012? I've Removed the 8 clips on the bottom, and the 2 little clips front and rear at the ends, feels like it's going to snap though so don't want to force it any more. I can see white clips that the skirt seems to slot into but they look...

    Laptop advice

You are after something with a minimum core i3 or ryzen 3 cpu, 8gb of ram and an ssd drive instead of a standard hdd hard drive which are just far too slow now for the 21st century. This will offer all the performance needed for years to come. WIndows 10 Home laptops will be cheaper then...

Formula 1 2020 (Will Contain Race Day Spoilers)

No need to be sarcy mate, Renault have improved, Honda this year haven't. I didn't say Renault were now the best team, but they are improving. 2022 should be an interesting year for sure with rule changes and which engine Red Bull end up with.

Formula 1 2020 (Will Contain Race Day Spoilers)

If Red Bull Don't agree an engine deal, then due to F1 rules Renault would supply them anyway due supplying the least amount of teams, e.g. only themselves. They only have themselves to blame, Renault have now sorted out their engine and it's strong, Honda in 3rd place and have gone backwards...
